Known for their mega hits Bboom Bboom and BAAM, members Yeonwoo, Jane, Taeha, Nayun, Daisy, JooE, Ahin and Nancy prepared a lot for their Filipno Merries. Unfortunately, Hyebin, the leader of the group couldn’t attend the said event.
At around 8PM, the girls opened the stage with their first song, “Welcome to Momoland.” They also performed their debut single “Jjan! Koong! Kwang!” and other songs such as “Uh-gi-yeo-cha“, “Freeze!” and “Wonderful Love“.
The girls surprised the fans with their rendition of the popular Filipino song, “Salamat” which literally means thank you, as they grazed the stage and interacted with the fans.
It was indeed a treat for Filipino Merries who were present during the event because of the various special stages which made the fan meeting more exciting. Members Ahin and Taega sang “I Want You and I Need You“, OST from the Korean drama, Cross. Jane, Yeonwoo and Nayun covered Girls’ Day hit song “Something” while Daisy, Nancy, and JooE performed 2NE1’s “Can’t Nobody“. Aside from these awesome numbers, they also performed Havana by Camila Cabello, which made the audience sing along as well.
They also sang “Bingo Game” from their last album “Fun to the World“. For their final set, they sang their hit songs “Bboom Bboom” and “BAAM“ (which has gained popularity in a lot of countries) accompanied by their fans’ enthusiastic chants.
Just when we thought that the show was over, the girls’ encore stage is as exciting as their previous sets. Armed with their great “fan service” skills, they started borrowing their fans’ phones and used them to take selfies and record videos. They also received fan gifts as well as they interacted with their fans more closely.
For the fans who were present there, I am sure that they are still hung over from all the excitement that happened that evening, and that everything was indeed, “sulit”!
